Word for 7/31 -Sideways

Silly me, thinking of this lady walking sideways down the sidewalk.

At least I kept her shadow upright.

Word for 7/30 – Fantasy

We had hoped to move to England 3 or 4 years ago.  But the inability to sell our Vermont home plus many of the subsequent financial woes in the US economy have made that fantasy just that, a fantasy.I still hang on to the dream of living in a small 2 bedroom flat in a new complex like the one above, which is only a few steps from a small railway station that would get me to London in about an hour.

And yes, I know I have it good compared to what the 21st century has handed to many of my fellow citizens.

Word for 7/22 – Quote

When I saw this tote bag in the gift shop at Monticello I thought it would be perfect for my husband.  He agreed.  But then it sat around unused for well over a year so I politely asked if I would use it on a trip once.  It has been mine ever since.  In Scotland one day I had a couple of women  ask me to reposition the bag so they could read the complete quote.  They just had to know what it was that could not lived without.
