Six Word Friday – 3/16/12

Dreams of spring time flowers: crocuses,

Glory of the snowscilla, snowdrops,

Pussy willows, spring snowflakes, hyacinths, daffodils,

Followed by tulips of many shades.

Then sometime in May lilacs bloom.

Lilies of the valley, come June.

  1. If I could have ‘liked’ this post more than once, I would have! Winter was blah this year but spring is going to be BEAUTIFUL! The flowers are coming up here already and although I’m worried about the frosty mornings doing them harm, it’s just so exciting to see those little burst of colour appearing in people’s gardens. My daylillies are already about three inches high.

You have officially inspired a walk through the back acres. Thanks Kitty 😀 I’ll take some pics for you.

  2. Lovely Six Word Friday! Makes me smile this morning 🙂 I love pussy willows. Lilies too, but I don’t want things to move too fast! Have a wonderful Spring weekend. I am procrastinating on SWF, my brain just can’t make it happen 🙂

  3. One way to tell the season, by what’s in bloom. I haven’t seen a pussy willow in years; there was one in the yard of the house where I grew up. It was a nice little tree.
