Black cat sprawled out absorbing sunlight.

Lovely Miss Lightning, my husband’s cat.

Light equals heat and warms her.

What a content kitty is she.

The floor is her sandy beach.

Black fur beats any skimpy bikini.

Six Word Fridays ~ Twist

A new twist to my baking;

Making cookies for a church lunch,

Open to those who need it.

I help some food insecure folk.

I get the joy of baking,

But I avoid many unhealthy calories.

Six Word Fridays ~ Heart

A Sweet Heart wrapped in foil, 

Lake Champlain raspberry filled dark chocolate.

 No chocolate equals a broken heart.

I try to avoid that always.

Time to practice moderation starts tomorrow.
