We have been in this house just over 20 years. The kitchen cabinets were off-white when we bought it. I had them painted sage green, about the same shade as the old McCormick spice caps. Seven years ago I repainted the outsides myself with a blend of left over paints that turned out this deeper green. They are looking a little scuffed and worn around the handles but I think I will just live with it.
